Inaugural tour initiative for New England Dance artists: The Davis Sisters (Alexander and Joy Davis) along with Ian Berg:Subject Matter, Nicole Stanton, and local guest artist share an evening of dance at William College, with support from the New England Foundation for the Arts.
At the threshold of dance, theater, comedy, and installation, Ex Nihilo: Out of Nothing is a culmination of works created since 2016 which contemplate our place in the story of the universe. Created by Joy Davis in collaboration with Eric Mullis, Alexander Davis, Curtis Thomas, Maggie Costales, Dorothy Cherry, and Alyx Henigman.

The Davis Sisters create a new work for Boston’s ATAD - a mixed generational dance company led by Eliza Malouk and Mary McCarthy. Together with a cast ages 23-91, Alex and Joy explore 8 Ball magic fortunes, Bob Dylan, and one thing we remember from yesterday. Premiering at the Boston University Theatre June 1 and 2.
The Davis sisters are THRILLED to be invited for the MFA’s first Dance Residency program. They will create new works for the Henri de Toulouse Lautrec exhibit opening in April 2019, happening in the gallery on 5 evenings with special guest appearances! More information coming soon.
